Tavares recorded an assist and fired four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blues.
Has terrific hand-eye coordination, puck smarts and creativity. Will go to the high traffic areas and has a quick release. Continues to play in his 30s with the determination of a rookie trying to make the team. He is a leader, and has been on every team he has played for. Has improved defensively over the years, though he is no longer used to kill penalties. His only liability is that he is a good, but not great skater.
